Sunset Overdrive

When I think about exclusives on the Xbox One, I put them into two categories: pre-Play Anywhere and post-Play Anywhere. Sunset Overdrive runs smoothly, looks great, and has nary a technical hiccup to speak of. The action doesn't slow down regardless of how busy or bombastic things get, which can honestly be pretty impressive considering the decent draw distance being displayed and the number of enemies you can engage at once.

While there were definitely a few shared gun loadouts in games, everyone had their own personal style on display, and seeing the synergy between people using frost and flame guns to change the state of enemies and others working in tandem to destroy or slow them down is a sight to behold.

There's no term other than crazy to describe Sunset Overdrive's story. A mission will randomly pop up at a location, which players will race to, earning bonuses if they're among the first to arrive. Multiplayer modes haven't been scaled for difficulty with five-or-more players.

While shooter fans may be left wanting as aiming hardly means anything in Sunset City, you'll still need to be deft with your thumbs and trigger fingers to make it through. You can change your player's look as much as you want throughout the game, including body type, gender - anything is swappable.

At Ghanaian YouTuber any point, players can make him black or white, big or small, shaggy or smooth. Sunset Overdrive celebrates the things that set us apart as gamers, and it draws strength from those differences. It's the skateboarding-style movement that makes Sunset Overdrive feel fresh and new.

A lack of restrictions robs players of what I see as the reward of exploring and becoming familiar with these massive worlds. Sunset Overdrive is one of the best looking games on the Xbox One, both on a technical and artistic level. There are different types of zombies, the city looks really cool, you can upgrade all of your weapons and customise your character to quite an impressive degree.
